Replay: Yoga Teacher Toolkit
Things they didn't teach you in your teacher training
Thank you so much for joining us! ***The replay is at the bottom of the page.
Overview:
There are a lot of different topics and information in this workshop but the overall themes that emerged no matter the topic seemed to be this:
- Questions are part of your yoga practice and teaching. Asking questions and staying curious about who we are and our reactions to things is our yoga practice. Asking questions about ourselves leads to more awareness and understanding, which leads to confidence and acceptance of who we are. Both as a yoga teacher and person!
- Know your why. We all have different goals when it comes to teaching yoga in general, and for each individual class that we teach. Being clear on why you are teaching, what you want to offer can help you stay in your lane and not compare yourself with others doing something different.
- Be yourself. We've heard that a million times, often enough that we might discount it. But when we can trust the direction our heart is pointing and show up as who we are; in our classes, newsletters, emails, social media, then we can trust that we will find the people who are looking for our point of view.
