Feb 9: Exploring all the spaces in between

Our fascia is the connective tissue that surrounds bones, muscles and organs. It is closely connected to the nervous system and populated with sensory receptors and nerve endings.
How does it store & hold our emotions?
The fascia can harden and become tight when our mindbody experiences trauma or stress. This tightness can restrict its natural flow.
Think of a time when you may have felt restricted or tense, did your mind feel clear? Did your body have space? It’s highly likely that the answer is no. What was going on in between the tension? Were you able to listen to the messages or signals that your mind body were given to you?
When
Sunday, Feb 9th
9:00am - 10:00am PT (Vancouver)
12:00pm - 1:00pm ET (New York)
5:00 - 6:00pm GMT (London)
During this session we will explore all of the spaces in between by:
- soothing our nervous system with a guided face massage that focuses on deep relaxation with specific acupressure points (please have two clean teaspoons ready if you don’t have teaspoons this can be done with your fingers).
- being guided through specific gentle release points on the body. Gentle release is similar to Accupressure and works on the meridians or energy centres in the body which promote a deep sense of rest and relaxation.
- applying mindful curiosity through a short guided writing practice. This will include doodling! So please do come with pens and paper. Coloured pens would be very handy here!
- resting in a guided relaxation.
