Dec 7: A Ritual for Rest

Join Ati for a soft landing.

This session is a love letter to your tired places.

A soft landing.
A space where you can remember that you are allowed to rest.

Through the creative use of a spoon, a scarf or belt, our own hands, and the power of visualization and soothing touch, we’ll gently tend to tension, and rebuild connection with the body that carries us.

This is not about performance or fixing but about listening.

What You’ll Need

  • Several blankets, cushions or pillows enough to feel fully supported in sitting or lying positions.
  • A scarf, belt or long soft cloth for gentle stretches or massage. Hands are also welcome!
  • A couple of spoons for simple tension release techniques. 2 teaspoons and 1 tablespoon for example.
  • Face oil or cream to support soft touch and self-massage.
  • A journal or paper and a pen (optional).
  • A quiet space to lie down or recline or adapt however feels right for your body.

A note on the Spotify link. Ati likes to create music playlists for her sessions and suggests that you play music from a separate device. She will let everyone know when to press play. This will only work if you have a subscription to Spotify. If you don't have a subscription, please feel free to play something soothing for about one hour. This can equally be done without music so please don't worry at all.

  • This workshop is inclusive of all identities and life stages including (but not limited to) menopause, chronic fatigue, neurodivergence, stress, grief, and transition.
  • The tools used spoons, scarves, and hands are chosen for their accessibility and creativity. You don’t need expensive gear to give your body care.
  • Come as you are. That is enough.
