Meet your Mentor:
Brea Johnson- founder and lead teacher of Heart and Bones Yoga
I’ve been teaching yoga full-time since 2003 and if there’s a corner of the yoga world, I’ve probably lived it:
From leading international retreats and training thousands of teachers worldwide... to scrubbing yoga studio bathrooms before class, negotiating leases, managing studio schedules, and figuring out how to fix a jammed stereo system five minutes before a full house showed up.
I’ve owned (and sold) a brick-and-mortar studio, built a thriving online yoga business and loyal global community from scratch, created multiple curriculums for teacher trainings, filmed and edited countless online courses and classes, survived the wild world of social media with my sanity (mostly) intact, dissected a body for deeper anatomical understanding (yes, totally legally!) lived through more tech meltdowns than I care to count while somehow convincing the internet to care about yoga one thoughtful post at a time
If there’s a part of the yoga teaching journey you’re curious about — from the dreamy to the downright gritty — chances are, I’ve been there. I’m so excited to share what I’ve learned — the hard lessons, the shortcuts, the messy bits, and the magic so you can carve your own path with heart, creativity, and confidence.
This mentorship isn’t about chasing perfection or hustling harder. It’s about growing your skills, your confidence, and your business in a way that feels sustainable, creative, and real.
